Group lot of vintage fishing lures and original boxes including examples from Martin Fish Lure Co. (Seattle, Washington), Helin Tackle Co. (Detroit, Michigan), and Heddon River-Runt Spook. The lot includes multiple cardboard lure boxes along with several period wooden and metal fishing lures.

Boxes visible in the lot include two Martin Plugs boxes, two Helin Flatfish boxes, one Heddon River-Runt box, and an additional Martin Fish Lure Co. box with original paper label indicating “White Red Gill” and size information. A Helin’s Flatfish instruction pamphlet is also included.

Several lures remain inside the boxes, while others are loose. One Flatfish box shown in the lower right is empty. The lot also includes two loose lures without original boxes. Visible lure types include a Helin Flatfish style lure and additional painted wooden plugs with treble hooks.

Vintage fishing tackle such as this is widely collected for its colorful paint schemes, early lure designs, and original packaging from American tackle manufacturers of the early to mid-20th century.

Condition

Boxes show heavy wear, staining, edge losses, and general deterioration consistent with age and storage. Lures exhibit oxidation, rust to hooks, paint wear, and handling wear. One Flatfish box is empty. Two lures are included loose without boxes. Please review photographs carefully for overall condition and completeness.
