Two-volume biography set on Confederate General Robert E. Lee by Margaret Sanborn, published by Lippincott in 1967.

Titles include:

Robert E. Lee: A Portrait, 1807–1861
Robert E. Lee: The Complete Man, 1861–1870

Both volumes are stated First Editions and retain their original dust jackets. The books are bound in teal cloth with gilt “R. E. Lee” monogram on the covers and publisher’s imprint to the spine. The dust jackets feature portrait illustrations of Lee and period styling typical of mid-20th century historical biographies.
