Authentic opalescent pressed glass bowl designed by René Lalique, France, model no. 3904, dating to the 1920s Art Deco period. The bowl features a finely molded radiating geometric pattern forming four symmetrical lobed sections around a central roundel. When viewed under light, the glass displays the soft milky opalescence characteristic of Lalique’s early decorative glass production.
The underside is molded “R. LALIQUE FRANCE” along with the model number “3904,” confirming pre-1945 manufacture and authentic period production. Lalique’s numbered designs were produced in relatively limited quantities, and smaller bowls such as this example remain desirable among collectors of French Art Deco glass for their refined scale and versatility in display.
Very good vintage condition with light surface wear and minor manufacturing marks consistent with age and original production. No cracks or repairs observed. Approximately 5 inches in diameter. Some images are photographed under controlled lighting to highlight the opalescent qualities of the glass, while others show the bowl under neutral lighting.
